It upsets me to see that they are making you change your branding. It seems like that would have been a tough decision to make considering the work that must have gone into the Americommerce brand. But hey, like they say, every man has his price. All I know is that I will continue to refer to you guys as Americommerce and so will my colleagues. (Btw, I had to create this account to leave a comment because I kept getting an error message that said my account couldn't be found.)

@Nick, hi man! Trust me, it is tough to consider the home for your product that you've helped build with so many good people for over a decade! I can at least say that the process started way before we were even acquired. We picked from a number of suitors that were at the table and picked the company that would empower us the most, the company that lived our ideals and the company that would invest in AmeriCommerce. Capital One lived out all of those promises, and we are now 6 months in and they are still showing us their commitment to us and our ideals every day while simultaneously investing in every team we have. I also will have a hard time not calling all of this AmeriCommerce as well! My daughter even turned red at the mere thought of changing our name! But I also am really excited about the new stuff we are slamming together to help people Sell Stuff! in a broader suite of commerce offerings and what we'll be able to do with that size of a team for business owners like you, myself and so many others! I sound like a fanboy, I know. Just know that I'm a blunt guy that tries hard to say it like it really is. I really appreciated your candid feedback and rest assured I can sympathize while at the same time be excited about where we're going since I dream in cool features/tools to solve selling problems! Time will tell my friend, till then, know we are trying our best to produce awesomeness for everyone!! Happy Selling!!! -Ed

I truly hope it goes well. IMHO, Americommerce had a better ring to it than Spark Pay. So far, most of the minor tweaks have been welcome improvements, and I hope that continues! I have a pretty big overhaul planned, so I hope there's lots of documentation to accompany those future improvements. Keep up the great work guys n' gals! ;) ~Stimpygato
