The strategic alliance formed between AmeriCommerce and AmeriCart in 2011 has led to a full acquisition of AmeriCart, its staff, software and customers. There will be no disruption of service to existing AmeriCart customers.

All new customers interested in AmeriCart will experience a full trial of AmeriCommerce which features the same embedded commerce tools AmeriCart offered as well as a full suite of store management features.

FEATURE: Email Template Management Added

AmeriCart has added the ability to edit and create both text based and html based email templates.  These templates can then be sent to your customers as order confirmations or for any step in your order process.  You can also send these templates directly to customers as well in the customer screens.

Editor mode support added for word-like WYSIWYG editing of your templates.

Admin Alert Fields Are Available at the bottom, to append information which is carbon copied(cc’ed) to the site administrator when that email is sent.

FEATURE: Code Generator Added To Control Panel

Added the code generator to the new v2012 control panel so it is local instead of redirecting the user to americart.com.  Great for easy access and for our white labelers out there.

When used in the control panel, the user does not have to enter their cart ID and the v2012 store URL
is used in the generated code instead of cartserver.com redirects.

AmeriCart News Feed In Control Panel Updated

As we are now innovating much more quickly, we want to show our progress and give information that may help our customers grow.  To help keep our customers up-to-date, we have added a news feed to the admin console which will be fed directly by our new website’s news feed.  We’ll dish out information on features and changes that affect our loyal customers and help them to succeed online.  Happy carting!

AmeriCart Refreshes Website

We have spent a few days adding some great new features to our public website and streamlining it.   Our goal is to make the entire website simpler and easier to understand and consume. Be sure to email us with any suggestions for improving it at support@americart.com.

Nothing is changing in how AmeriCart functions, we are just trying to further simplify the website and make it easier for all of our customers to find the features and help they need.  Simplicity is the name of the game and we will always stick to that motto!

Also, stay tuned, the new AmeriCart v2012 version is going to be simplified too and have many new features to help you succeed online!  But don’t worry, every feature you know and love will not be changing.

Now that it has launched, our marketing team will be spending the next few weeks trying to further simplify and remove noise and add clarity throughout the site, updating content and help.
