AmeriCommerce handles upsells, cross-sells, and related products through the Related Items tab on the Product Editor. From this page, simply search for other products you wish to relate and add them to the Related Items tab.
To discount upsells, mark a related item as an "upsell" and adjust its pricing or apply free shipping.
Products on the Related Items tab will sort first by the Upsell flag and then the Sort Order column when they are displayed.
Related Items are shown using the Related Items snap-in. This can be applied to the Snap-In areas of the Product Details page.
May We Suggest
To offer the Related Items for sale after an item is added to the cart, check "Show Upsells After Add To Cart (May We Suggest)" in the Quick Theme Settings of the Theme Manager. Add the Related Items Snap-In or a Custom HTML box with marketing text and images on the "May We Suggest" page in the Theme Editor. When a customer adds an item to the cart that has one or more Related Items, they will be automatically redirected to the May We Suggest page. From there they can then choose to purchase one of the Related Items, Continue Shopping, or Check Out. |
