Custom store text and labels is a feature that allows you to customize the default store text and labels so you can make it most relevant to your store. Some examples of this being changing the label of 'Postal Code' to 'Zipcode', changing the label 'Full Name' to 'First and Last Name'. You can customize store text and labels in many different areas of your store.
The example below outlines the steps to take to change Store Text. In this example we will be changing out the Label 'Full Name' to 'First and Last Name'.
Original Label on the checkout page - 'Full Name'

The first part is to create a new Store Text group with the new labels.
Note: The default store text group cannot be edited. To edit the labels a new store text group needs to be created and it can be assigned to different stores.
Step 1: Browse to Themes > Store Text & Languages

Step 2: Add a new Store Text Group by selecting a Name and clicking on the '+' sign.
Hint: Since you can use 'Store Text & Localization' for internationalization or to differentiate content on a per store basis, name this profile accordingly. You can name it "Chinese" or "MyStoreName". The "default" one is there for general use and is maintained by AmeriCommerce.

Step 3: Select the Label to change (ensure that you select the New Store Text Name in the Current Localization Profile) then:
- Select the Label to change (in this example: AddressEditor_FullNameLabel_String)
- Delete the default text/label 'Full Name' and add the new store text/label 'First and Last Name'
- Click Save

Note: You can select which default labels to change. You dont' need to change every single one out. If you leave a label blank, it will use the default label.
You should see the label changed to 'First and Last Name' in the admin console as per the screen shot below:

The second part is to set the Store text to the 'New Store Text' Group under Store Settings
Step 1: Browse to Stores > Your Store Name [Active Store] > Store Settings

Step 2: Change Store Text to 'New Store Text' Group and Save

Verify that the New Label displays correctly on the storefront checkout page
