If you are calculating your shipping costs using a Shipping Provider, it is mandatory that you create at least a Default Warehouse in order to determine the origin address of your packages.

If you ship from multiple zip codes or from distributors, you can define these origins as Warehouses.

To define a Warehouse, click Global Settings > Warehouses and click the New Tab to add warehouses.

Warehouse Menu

To set the Warehouse for a specific product, open the General Tab of the Product Editor for the product and specify the Warehouse from the drop-down menu or set it thru the Import CSV file.
