AmeriCommerce is looking for someone that can help our clients with their websites. We need a customer support focused, analytical thinker who can help clients set up their AmeriCommerce storefront/website and walk them through how to sell things online. It helps to have a good handle on web skillsets such as knowledge of HTML/CSS and other web technologies in use today.
Support responsibilities would include helping clients set up our ecommerce software, writing step by step knowledge base articles, helping with shipping and pricing tables, helping upload products and customers, supporting clients via phone and support tickets and posting in our forums and blogs to help future clients.
Implementation responsibilities would include adding or editing a site’s settings, web design, html and styles to help clients sell more online. If you have the skills it would also include using jquery and javascript to make features come to life on client sites.

AmeriCommerce is looking for a skilled software developer whose responsibilities would include designing, maintaining and enhancing our shopping cart software and supporting tools. This person will work in a deep, feature-rich, enterprise architecture with a team of peers and will have exposure to the entire software development process including database interactions, web services, Web 2.0 AJAX and JQuery experiences, n-tier architecture.
Skill Requirements
- 3 years of programming experience desired.
- 2 years of C#, ASP.NET, HTML and JavaScript experience desired.
- Optional experience with some of the following is helpful but not required:
- Ecommerce, SQL Server 2008, OOP/OOD, cross browser development, Web Services, XML, AJAX, XSL, Unit Testing, Visual Studio and enterprise frameworks

This person would sell hosted ecommerce and website solutions to a cultivated client and lead base all over the country and world, our leads come to us and we show them why we’re great. Our salespeople act as mini consultants and help customers be successful selling things online, so it can help to have a good handle on web technologies and products that are in use today.
